6330.1: Grading Guidelines for Second - Twelfth Grade

The С»ÆѼÊÓƵ Grading Guidelines for second through twelfth grade shall be used to report achievement and academic progress and to compute Grade Point Averages (GPA).Ìý Weighted grade points shall be given to those grades received in Advanced Placement (AP) classes or International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) classes where applicable.

Weighted grade points will apply to Advanced Placement courses, to those courses taken for International Baccalaureate purposes wherein students are required to meet IB requirements for standard level (SL) or higher level (HL) assessment and to those courses which are beyond the Advanced Placement course sequence within a specific content area as identified in the С»ÆѼÊÓƵ High School Curriculum Handbook and Registration Guide. Pre-IB courses do not qualify for weighted grade points.Ìý

Graduates will be recognized for honors in accordance with the following Grade Point Averages (GPA):

Summa Cum LaudeÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý 4.0 and above

Magna Cum LaudeÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý 3.75-3.99

Cum LaudeÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý 3.50-3.74
