The С»ÆѼÊÓƵ Board of Education recognizes its responsibility to provide that all studentsÌýdemonstrateÌýthe character, knowledge, and skills necessary for personal excellence and responsible citizenship. Furthermore, it recognizes that to provide equal opportunity for all students a dynamic curriculum is needed to provide diverse opportunities which challenge each student.Ìý
To fulfill this responsibility in a comprehensive and systematic manner, the С»ÆѼÊÓƵ Board of Education assigns to the Office of the Superintendent the responsibility for system wide planning for curriculum, instruction, and assessment.
