For the purpose of the С»ÆѼÊÓƵ Education Program the following definitions shall apply.Ìý
Content curriculumÌý– identified knowledge, skills, and processesÌý
Instructional strategiesÌý– teaching practices that support student learningÌý
Assessment methodologiesÌý– processes by which student performance and mastery are judgedÌý
С»ÆѼÊÓƵ StandardsÌý– District developed essential learner outcomes for academic and College and Career Readiness skills that are based on state academic content standards and indicatorsÌý
AccountabilityÌý– roles and responsibilities of the board of education, superintendent, central office personnel, building personnel, and students, relative to the MEPÌý
AlignmentÌý– demonstrated relationship among written, taught, and assessed curriculumÌý
Professional Learning – Professional opportunities whereby employees gain the knowledge and skills necessary to implement the District curriculum to improve student learning.
